Eat the World

Wedgewood’s Signature Global Food & Wine Series

Eat the World is Wedgewood’s ongoing culinary travel series exploring regional food cultures through cheese, wine, storytelling, and deeply place-driven cuisine.

More than a wine dinner or tasting class, Eat the World is designed to transport guests to a specific corner of the world for a single Sunday evening — from alpine villages and Adriatic coastlines to bustling markets, wine-country kitchens, and seaside taverns. Each class centers around a distinct regional identity shaped by geography, climate, agriculture, and tradition.

At Wedgewood, we believe some of the world’s most meaningful food cultures are rooted not in luxury or trend, but in regional ingredients prepared with care and passed from table to table over generations. Sheep’s milk cheeses from Sardinia. Village wines from Burgundy. Alpine dairy traditions in Switzerland. Coastal seafood along the Adriatic. Handmade pasta in Bologna. Mole in Oaxaca. Every destination we choose tells a story through food.

Each Eat the World event is researched and developed in-house by the Wedgewood team through cookbooks, regional wine study, agricultural traditions, and extensive culinary research. Menus are intentionally immersive rather than performative — focused less on fine dining interpretations and more on capturing the atmosphere, rhythms, and spirit of a place.

Every experience includes:

  • A guided wine flight curated specifically for the featured destination;

  • Four paired small bites inspired by regional dishes, cheeses, and seasonal ingredients;

  • Rich storytelling and educational context led by Wedgewood’s cheese and wine team;

  • Access to limited and seasonal wines and cheeses sourced specifically for each event.

No two classes are alike. Some are bright and coastal. Others are rustic, mountainous, smoky, or deeply wine-driven. Together, they form an evolving journey through the foods and traditions that shape how communities gather, celebrate, preserve, and nourish.

Eat the World has become one of Wedgewood’s signature experiences — blending the intimacy of a dinner party with the depth of a cultural workshop, all through the lens of cheese, wine, and hospitality.

Limited seating is available for all events.
