Summer Fridays are our weekly celebration of wine, cheese, conversation, and seasonal hospitality at Wedgewood Cheese Bar.

Every Friday afternoon, we open up our space for a free, drop-in tasting built around a rotating seasonal theme — from Butter & Bubbles to coastal wines, tomato pairings, alpine cheeses, spritzes, and beyond. Guests can taste featured pours alongside artisan cheeses and specialty bites while exploring our retail bottle shop and full food menu.

Part wine tasting, part neighborhood gathering, Summer Fridays are designed to feel casual, generous, and discovery-driven. No tickets. No formal class structure. Just an opportunity to slow down, taste something new, and spend time with people who love food and wine as much as we do.

Located in downtown Carrboro near Chapel Hill, Wedgewood Cheese Bar specializes in artisan cheese, small-production wine, seasonal food, and immersive culinary experiences. Summer Fridays reflect everything we love most about hospitality: sharing ingredients, telling stories, and creating memorable experiences around the table.
