Where is Wedgewood located?
Wedgewood Cheese Bar is located in Carrboro, North Carolina—just minutes from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and right off Franklin Street.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. Reservations for up to 4 people can be made through OpenTable. For parties of 5+, please visit our reservations page and submit a large party request.
Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. For a description of our seating options (bar, table, high top and counter), please visit our reservations page.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes—we welcome walk-ins for lunch, dinner, wine, and cheese whenever space allows. If a table is not available, we can add you to our waitlist and you’re welcome to grab a drink next door at Belltree Cocktail Club.
What are your hours?
Our current hours are Wed, 11am-8pm, Thur-Fri, 11am-9pm, and Sat, 11am - 9:30. End times indicate last seating, not closing time. For the most up to date hours, visit our Google Business profile.
Are you family-friendly?
Yes. Families are welcome.
Do you have outdoor seating?
No, we do not have outdoor seating.
Where can I park?
Wedgewood is located at 100B Brewer Lane, where Merritt Mill Road meets E. Franklin Street. We’re directly next to Belltree Cocktail Club and behind Carolina Car Wash.
There are a limited number of parking spots available directly next to Wedgewood in an on-site lot (before you reach the Tae Kwon Do school). Look for signs that say “parking for Wedgewood and Belltree.”Street parking is widely available, including paid parking and free street parking in the surrounding area, including North Merritt Mill Road, Graham Road, and E. Franklin Street.

Do you offer gift cards?Yes. Gift cards are available online and physical gift cards can be purchased in-store.

What kind of food do you serve?
Our menu focuses on cheese, seasonal small plates, thoughtful wine pairings, sandwiches, salads, and dishes inspired by regional food traditions. Visit our menu page for a look at sample menus.
Do you only serve cheese boards?
Not at all. While our cheese boards are popular, we also offer seasonal dishes, sandwiches, salads, desserts, wine pairings, and special event menus. Our menu changes frequently with the season.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes. Many of our dishes are naturally vegetarian or can be modified as such. We can accommodate many dietary preferences and allergies, just ask your server for options.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
We do offer some gluten-free options and modifications—please ask our team when ordering.
Can I buy cheese to take home?
Yes. Our space includes a retail space with a large cut-to-order cheese counter, wine shop, and curated products to enjoy at home.
Do you sell wine by the bottle?
Yes. We offer both by-the-glass and bottle selections. Many of the wines on our menu are available to take home for half off listed menu price.

Do you host wine & cheese tastings?
Yes. This is actually where Wedgewood really shines. We regularly host wine & cheese tastings, classes, regional dinners, and seasonal events. Our full class and event lineup is available via our Eventbrite page, where tickets can be purchased. Click follow on our Eventbrite page to be notified when we add a new event.
What special events do you host?
From butter dinners and regional deep-dives to wine tastings, cheese classes, week-long ingredient showcases (tomato week, butter week, etc.), and one-night-only pop-ups, our events are designed for curious eaters who want more than dinner and a drink.
How do I find upcoming events?

Can I use a Wedgewood gift card to purchase a class or event ticket listed on Eventbrite?
Yes, but we’ll have to arrange that for you since they are two different systems. To redeem a gift card for a class, email us at hello@wedgewood cheesebar.com.

We’re passionate about stories of place: the farmers, cheesemakers, winemakers, and traditions that shape how something tastes. We love exploring the culture, commerce, agriculture, and geography that define a region’s palate—and bringing those stories to life through food, wine, and hospitality.
Do you host corporate events?
Yes. We host everything from client dinners and executive meetings to corporate lunches, faculty gatherings, recruiting events, holiday parties, and startup celebrations.
We also offer team-building wine and cheese tastings, cocktail-style networking events, and hands-on experiences like tapas and aperitivo cooking classes. Whether you’re planning a casual team lunch or a more immersive client experience, we can customize the format to fit your group.Can I book the entire restaurant?
Yes, buyouts are available based on availability.
Are private events available on days you’re closed?
Yes. While we’re closed to the public Sunday–Tuesday, private events are available seven days a week.
